MULTIPLE SIGNATURES OF BOTH EVA PERON AND JUAN PERON. A slightly worn and lightly soiled portfolio presented to
the previous owner by the government of Argentina more than fifty years ago. The document records the events of a week-long
visit to Argentina by about two dozen representatives of the tourism and travel industry of the United States during the period
November 23-30, 1950. Near the front is a photograph of the group in front of their plane on arrival. Additionally, there
is a two page program of scheduled events and visits for the coming week. More importantly, there is a full page photograph
of the President of the Republic and his wife, that is, of Juan Peron and his wife Eva Peron (Evita). This photograph is signed
in the margins by both Perons. At the back of the volume is a short printed message, a sort of farewell or final thought,
from Juan Peron, with his signature underneath the message. Lastly, there are two photographs laid in to the portfolio. One
is of Juan Peron, mounted on a heavy stock; underneath the photo is a printed message and underneath that is the signature
of Juan Peron. The second photograph, somewhat smaller, but still approximately 7" by 9", is of Eva Peron. This photo is likewise
mounted on heavy paper with a short printed message underneath the photo and the signature of Eva Peron underneath that. In
brief, and in summary, the portfolio contains four signed sheets, two with the signature of Juan Peron alone, one with the
signature of Eva Peron alone, and one with both signatures on the same sheet. If not unique, this portfolio must be very uncommon,
given the relatively short time Eva Peron lived after becoming First Lady of Argentina.

rubbing to the boards. Age toning to the DJ and text block. Some edge wear to the DJ, including some small tears along the
outside edges, and even a couple of pieces completely removed from the head of the DJ spine. The DJ is in a protective mylar
